There is no entry fee for the dog events. Please register no LATER then at the Canine Events booth by 2 p.m. All dogs must be on leash.

 

Dog Events for the Scottish-Irish Faire 2012:

 Dressed Up Doggies Contest

Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Please register no LATER than 2 p.m.

Dress your best buddy in costume. Prizes will be awarded for Most Original (non-Celtic) Costume,
Happiest Tail Wagger, Best Behaved Canine, Best Handmade Costume and Most Original Celtic Costume.  All breeds are welcome.
 

  • Celtic Breeds Parade
     
Saturday at 3:00 p.m. please register no LATER than 2 p.m. The parade will immediately follow the Dress Up Contest.

Other events may be available:

     Equestrian Entertainment-Kumpania Peregrina-Livestock Building
     Equine Assisted Therapy-Livestock Building
     Sheepdog Demonstration-Livestock Building
     Rescue Groups-Greyhounds and Brittanys-Main Arena


Put your dog in the spotlight. If your dog's breed is one that was developed or improved in one of the Celtic countries (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, and Wales) or the British Isles, you are invited to enter the Celtic Breeds Parade. We will introduce your dog and tell the audience about its unique breed characteristics.
