Sunday August 19^th Classes:  Men’s B, Men’s C, Women’s Open, Lightweight Men

Events

·         Competition will consist of 8 events: Sheaf, Weight for Height, Open Stone, Braemar Stone, Heavy Hammer, Light and Heavy Weight for Distance and Caber. 

·         Athletes must compete in ALL events to qualify for Overall Athlete of the Day.

Rules

·         Competition will be conducted in accordance to RMSA / SAAA rules.

·         Weigh ins will take place Sunday.

·         All athletes must wear a kilt during competition.

·         Check in time for all athletes will be from 8:00 to 8:45 AM at the Heavy Athletics field tent.

·         Judges rulings are final.

Entry Fee

Early registration fee is $25.00.  On the field registration (pending available space), is $30.00.  Please make checks payable to: PBHG.  Submit registration form at the Games Table at the event at 8:00 AM Saturday.

THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, READ BEFORE SIGNING

            I hereby authorize the Permian Basin Highland Games & Celtic Faire (PBHG) to use photographs of the above named in their brochures, pamphlets, advertising and other purposes in any way relating to PBHG activities.

            I agree that the PBHG, New Mexico Celtic Athletics (NMCA), their officers, directors and members or agents (hereinafter, the “Released Parties”) shall not be liable or responsible for injury to me (including paralysis or death) or damage to my property occurring during any PBHG event or activity and resulting from acts or omissions occurring during the performance of the duties of the Released Parties, even where the damage or injury is caused by negligence (except willful neglect). I understand and agree that all members and guests participate voluntarily and at their own risk in all activities and I assume all risks of injury and damage arising out of the conduct of such activities. I release and hold the Released Parties harmless from any injury or loss to my person or property, which may result from my participation in the PBHG activities and events. I understand that this means that I agree not to sue the Released Parties for any injury or resulting damage to myself or my property arising from, or in connection with the performance of their duties in sponsoring, planning or conducting said event.
