Workshop info. will be posted here as soon as it is received. Beer Tasting with Red McWilliams Gaelic Language with David Gressett Whistle with P. J. Welch-Liggan Note: Please bring or purchase your own whistle Irish Step Dance with Kristen Williamson Textile Crafts by Illuminated Threads: Beginning Knitting by Pam Girard Attendees will learn to cast on, how to knit and, if time permits, how to purl. Instructions will include how to change colors and stop as well as a simple scarf pattern you can practice with. Basic Celtic Knotwork Drawing by Kathy Powe Attendees will learn to draw a basic Celtic knot using a simple method. Variations in the drawing method will be explored to provide a starting place for attendees to further create on their own. Beginning Embroidery by Dorothy Girard & Jane Lusk Attendees will learn basic outline and filler stitches (stem stitch, back stitch, straight stitch, lazy daisy, chain stitch, split stitch just to mention a few). Attendees will also work on a personal monogram. |
